How do you photograph coins and jewelry for listings?

My phone photos of shiny things always come out blurry or full of glare, and my listings sit forever. What's your cheap-and-cheerful setup for shooting small reflective items? Lightbox? Window light? Share your tricks.

Soft, indirect window light beats any flash. Put the item on a plain neutral background, turn the flash OFF, and tap to focus right on the detail. Glare usually comes from a direct light source — diffuse it with a sheet of paper.

A $15 collapsible lightbox changed my listings overnight. For coins, shoot slightly off-axis so the light rakes across the surface and shows the relief instead of bouncing straight back.
