My mid-century bookshelf restoration — before & after

Rescued a beat-up teak shelf from a curb pile and spent a weekend bringing it back with a clean, some wood soap and a coat of oil. Couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Anyone else restoring rather than reselling? Show me your saves.

That teak looks fantastic. I'm firmly team-restore — saving a well-made piece from the landfill is half the fun. Currently reviving a walnut sideboard with the same approach.
